Save the Economy! Wear a Condom!!

The “Queen of Congress” is at it again. Nancy Pelosi feels we need to give the states hundreds of millions of dollars of your money to fund the expansion of family planning services. I can only assume the theory here is if you increase the availability of birth control and make abortions widely available, it will decrease health care cost to the states. Or in her words justifying the expenditure during an interview with ABC, “The family planning services reduce cost. One of the elements of this package is assistance to the states. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children's health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those - one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government." All I can say is “WHAT???” I heard a bunch of words come out of her mouth, but she didn’t say anything – but, what else should I expect from a Democrat?
I would like to point out if a Republican had stated the same, they would have been branded a racist by the Al Sharpton crowd, with the implication being that all of the evil rich Republicans want low income people to stop reproducing – but since Pelosi is a democrat in good standing, the liberal press will give her the usual free pass.

The Party Is Over......

Congratulations President Obama. The 08 campaign is really over. Now it’s time to get to work. As I listened to the orgasmic wailings of the liberal throng who attended the inauguration, I heard something from our new President about us all being Americans and we needed to put partisan politics aside and work together. I wish him well in this endeavor. Certainly he faces some challenges breaking down barriers. President Obama probably realized this when a round of “Boos” came from his loyal supporters when President Bush appeared on the scene at the inauguration. This was reinforced when some fun loving liberals defaced the monument of George H. W. Bush in Houston on the day of the inaugural by writing “No More Bush” in yellow paint on the statue of the former president.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid obviously is interested in reaching across party lines with he declared “I really do believe President Bush is the worst president we’ve ever had.” Even former President Jimmy “ 55 MPH” Carter referred to President Bush’s administration the “Worst in History”. More evidence liberals really want to just “get along”.
So good luck, Mr. President – it appears your fellow liberal democrats are ready to support you, just as long as everyone else goes along with them.

Thanks W......

Tonight, President George W. Bush gave his farewell address to the nation. We all need to give pause and think about what this man has brought us through over the last eight years. Right out of the box, on September 11th, 2001, America suffered its worst attack on our soil since Pearl Harbor. Our President stood on the ruble of the World Trade Center and declared war on those responsible for bringing harm to America and our citizens. He took charge, and he made decisions based on the best information at the time, and went after those who had and would plot to destroy America. He made the hard decision to liberate Iraq, and remove from power and tyrant on equal to Adolf Hitler – and yes, even though Osama Bin Laden hasn’t been captured, we haven’t seen nor heard much from him in seven years. And even though these events were more than any President had faced since WWII, he is now faced with an economic crisis that has shaken the faith of many in America’s financial future.
One constant during his presidency, was the continual attack by liberals, and with their allies in the press, they painted President Bush as everything from Hitler to the Anti-Christ. President Bush never received one ounce of support from those who raved about his predecessor, whose most difficult executive decision was to have his Willy waxed by an intern. But, being a class act, President Bush never yielded to the temptation to get down in the mud with his enemies.
In the final analysis, President Bush led us through some very dark days – with class and dignity. So I just wanted to say, “Thanks W”, I’ll miss you – and we all owe you a debt of gratitude for a job well done. And for those that hated you over these last eight years, well, I guess they won’t have old George W. Bush to kick around anymore.
