FORE ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

As our President hit the campaign trail immediately after delivering his meaningless State of the Union address, it got me to thinking about the remaining time he will reside in the White House. I’ve determined the very best thing Barack Obama could do for the country is to hit the golf course – and stay on the golf course. As the President who has spent more time playing golf than any other President, this shouldn’t be a problem. At least this will keep Barack Obama from doing any further damage to the country. So the next time you hear someone on a golf course yelling the word “Fore”, hope he has an entourage of Secret Service men in tow.

PERIOD

Tonight, Barack Obama will give the annual State of the Union address to the nation. Surprisingly, he didn’t call The Old NCO to help write his speech. So, I wanted to jot down what I would have written had the White House requested my assistance. So here goes….. Speaker Boehner, Vice President Biden, Senators, Representatives, Ladies and Gentlemen, tonight, I present to you the State of the Union. The theme of tonight’s address to the nation can be summed up in one word, and that word is PERIOD. I’ll begin with a report on the Affordable Care Act. I want to remind everyone that my official policy is to no longer call the program Obamacare as I’m trying to distance myself from my signature legislation. As you all remember, I told everyone if you liked your current health insurance plan, that you could keep your plan – PERIOD. Well, I lied about that. I also told everyone that if you liked your current doctor, you could keep your current doctor – PERIOD. Well, I lied about that too. I stood before you four years ago and told everyone my 831 billion dollar stimulus plan would put America back to work – PERIOD. Well guess what, I was lying then. It was just a big scheme to spread the wealth around. On the international front, I stated we would protect our embassy personnel stationed overseas. And when four Americans were slaughtered by Al Qaeda terrorist in Benghazi, Libya, I said it was due to a You Tube video – PERIOD. Well, I lied. It was just before the election. So what did you expect? The truth? Get real. And I recently told everyone I negotiated with the country of Iran to have them stop enriching plutonium to a grade capable of making a nuclear bomb – PERIOD. Yep, must know by now, I lied. I gave away the farm. So, in conclusion, let me be truthful for once. You can never believe a thing I tell you – PERIOD.

Obamacrats

The looney left loves to go on and on about how divided the Republican party is – that we have our Tea Party faction, the Christian Conservatives, and Republicans in Name Only (RINO) – and that none of us get along. But there is one thing that unites all of us on the Right, and that is we think Barack Obama is doing a horrible job, and that in fact, he is hurting this country. And the truth today, Democrats are beginning to run from Obama. Many Democrats are facing congressional elections in 2014 – and being an “Obamacrat” isn’t going to help them get re-elected. Democrats want to return to being Democrats, and not part of the socialist leaning Obamacrats so much in vogue just 12 months ago. However, there are still the Obama faithful, like Pelosi, Reed and others who even with all the lies and lack of accountability of this administration, still remain firmly behind the President. So, from where I sit, the left is becoming far more divided than Republicans ever were. Obama is not only hurting the country, but he is single handedly dismantling the Democrat party. No Pain, No Gain

That seems to be the motto of the White House. The President and the Democrat’s political strategy is to inflict the maximum amount of pain on the American public from the government shutdown. That’s their goal. It even goes to the extent of not paying death gratuities to the families of military members killed in action, which includes not paying for the travel of the families of the fallen heroes to Dover AFB when their loved one's remains are returned to American soil. Further, Jack Lew, Obama’s Secretary of the Treasury, stated before Congress today that he ‘Would Not’ pay the interest on America's debt to our country’s creditors unless the debt ceiling was raised. Sadly, the truth is he ‘Could’ pay our creditors from the continual stream of tax dollars flowing to Washington DC by diverting enough funds from other government expenses -- perhaps a few less rounds of golf or paid vacations on Air Force One by the President. Now, if President Obama directs his Treasury Secretary not to pay our creditors, the results will be even greater pain for the average American. First, stock values will fall – drastically. Accordingly, values retirement accounts (401Ks, IRAs) will be decimated for those already retired and those still working to save for retirement. Secondly, interest rates will rise. This is the interest rate available to purchase homes, autos, and the interest rate on credit cards. Thirdly, inflation will shortly follow. And while the youngest generation of Americans have not experienced the negative effects of inflation, basically, it means the dollar you have today, will be worth less tomorrow. This equates to rising prices on everything – food, gas, clothes… With all of that, the White House and Senate Democrats still remain rigidly firm on their ‘My Way or the High Way’ strategy, rejecting anything sent to them by the House of Representatives. Our President needs to abandon his “Obama Doctrine” of politics first, American second, and be the President to all Americans – not just those who agree with him politically. If he wants to be the leader of the Democratic Party, then he should have stayed in the Senate and lobbied for Harry Reid’s job.

Keeping America Safe

Thanks goodness at this time of government shutdown, our President has put up "Obamacades" to keep our outdoor memorials safe. As you see in this picture, you can imagine the danger we would have faced if these wheelchair bound WWII vets had been allowed access to the WWII monument in Washington DC. Oh, the Humanity! We owe our fearless President all of the credit here. Mr. President, job well done! Now, if our President had only put half of the effort protecting the embassy in Benghazi Libya, perhaps four brave Americans would still be alive today.

White House Incident Today

If you have not heard, a woman tried to ram through one of the White House gates today. I wanted to put up a quick post to predict Harry Reid and/or Nancy Pelosi blaming this attack on Tea Party radicals in an effort to further blame Republicans for the Government Shutdown.

UPDATE: Just hours after the car chase at the White House ended in the death of the person driving the Infiniti coupe, Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, Democrat from Texas, said the incident is linked to the government shutdown. She stated the House (meaning the Republicans) should pass a clean Continuing Resolution (CR) without any attachments and "God knows, the tragedy of this poor person who came on the Hill in a black car. No one knows what drives this person to do this… But what I would say to you is let's get our wheels back on” The Old NCO fails to see the connection, but most of what Liberals say doesn't usually make sense anyway.

Who's Gonna Pay for Obamacare?

Well, Obamacare is here and the web sites are open for business. The President promised “affordable” care for all Americans. I wonder what Obama’s definition of “affordable” is… And I wonder where all of this money to pay for Obamacare is coming from? Well, now that the Federal Government is in the insurance business, let’s compare them to their for profit counterparts. For profit insurance companies use the principle of insuring a large group of people who probably won’t need the insurance they have sold them. They do this by screening individuals for their health factors and consider the risks before they sell them health insurance. This minimizes their risk and maximizes profits. Now we all know that trying to make a profit is an evil thing according to liberals, so enter Obamacare. Obamacare will insure anyone regardless of their health or pre-existing conditions. Therefore, from a financial standpoint, risk is much higher. And since Obamacare is “affordable”, profits will be minimized. So where is the money coming from to pay for the high percentage of those that will actually use the insurance they purchased through Obamacare? Well, the President is hoping all of the Obama Youth, or if you prefer, the Obamazombies, who are young and healthy will run out and buy health insurance through Obamacare. Currently, the fine if you don’t buy Obamacare is $95.00, which will be collected by another trusted government institution, the IRS. The costs of the Obamacare mid tier Silver Plan is $328 and month. Considering health insurance is not high on the priority list of many young Americans, which one do you think they will opt for? $95 or $328? While the President is counting on his youthful minions to all buy Obamacare plans, the Old NCO doubts they will. So, back to my basic question – who’s gonna pay. Well, unless President Obama plans to let his legacy legislation implode financially, YOU will foot the bill for the financial shortfall Obamacare is destined to rack up. But take comfort, all of you Obama supporters, that is how Socialism works.
